Welcome to the "Success Stories" section of our website...

I hope these work at home success stories will benefit "you," the reader and gives you at least some insight about your decision to work from home, and some motivation. A home business is not always easy, as it has misfortunes and thorns just like the brick and mortar type employment. You can read my story after all the others at the end of this page. However first, I will share with you an introduction about the intelligent business associates that I've called upon to be a part of my site.

I have learned that interacting with other home business professionals is so invaluable to your business success for one, however, a host of additional benefits as well. Networking online with friends and business associates is highly beneficial on so many levels. While I've made friends with some of the best entrepenuers, I've also learned a great deal from them.

I've discovered a wealth of knowledge geared toward business, especially just within this past year. A lot of this has been much about myself. And this brings me to a Google search (gotta love Google), that I did while writing the content for this page. These are the two words that I used for my search; "Business Etiquette." I came upon this awesome article, it caught my attention and I ended up reading the whole entire article. Business Etiquette - More Than Just Eating with the Right Fork. There's a lot of substance in that article, and was written by Paula Williams.

The point I'm trying to convey here is, friends and co-workers, both online and off should always work together as a team and help one another instead of being negative. It's so much more productive to be positive and work together to get something accomplished, make a friend or two, and also achieve success.

I'm not perfect, far from it. I've learned so very much from past mistakes. And that's exactly how everything needs to perceive. We learn from our mistakes and also a great deal from others. And the below group of work at home professionals are a few I've grown accustomed to sharing and interacting with, and also learn from. Staying in touch with positive people is a very good thing. It rubs off and in return, helps YOU remain positive even when everything seems bleak and uncertain.

My first experience with online marketing started about 8 years ago. I attended a couple of seminars about online marketing and building a website. I was immediately facinated by all the possibilities that the internet offered for moms to be able to work at home.

I started my first website, which was a local community shopping guide. I began learning the basics of SEO and discovered how easy aiming for local keywords could be. I also did some eBay selling online. Since moving away from the large city, I've started some other niche sites and have found success in utilizing affiliate marketing to earn money online.

Thank you for the opportunity to share a bit about me and what I do. I'm honored to be featured here at Tammy's work at home success stories - Thank you Tammy!

I got started in computer design back around 1997-98. This was before the whole world of blogs and social networking got crazy-popular. I was enjoying the wide-world-web and all the free resources it had to offer parents like me. I thought a way to share my finds would be fun, and my first website was created. I named it Moms Rewards and started it on a free website service.

In 2000, the site got it's own dot-com and MomsRewards.com was born. Well, creating the website was fun. I still enjoy the creation part of website design very much, but what all websites need are some really great looking, eye catching graphics, right? So, I started designing my own headers, banners, buttons, logos and more. I really fell in love with the process of graphic design and display and how it ties the whole website together. I decided this is what I want to do and haven't looked back since.

Since 2000, I created websites and graphics for myself and others. It's been very gratifying work being able to turn thoughts and ideas into unique visual brands. I'm grateful to have worked with hundreds of clients over the years, many of which return to me and promote me to their friends as the graphic designer for all their online design project needs.

It's important to do what you love and love what you do. It's not always possible, especially in this economy, but something important to strive for. When you love what you do, the gratitude and success you feel from within shines freely from what you produce.

I started in network marketing way back in 1976 and it was with a Canadian company called Regal Greetings and Gifts. I was with them for over 32 years. Recently I joined back up again. Its a card and gift company.

Then in 2000 my friend who had been after me for 7 years to join her in her Watkins business, finally talked me into it. I decided to give it a try and it took off for me right away. I love the products and grew up with them so I knew their reputation. I made a lot of sales right away and met a lot of great people in the business and also new customers. So in no time at all I was making a good income with Watkins. Here it is 2011 and I am still with Watkins.

I never would have dreamed that a small creative project would have such an impact on our lives. Over the years I have been able to help so many women pursue their own business objectives without surrendering their desire to be there for their children. My journey into working at home with internet marketing started completely by accident back in May of 2003. I had just graduated college and was looking for a job in my field of study when I came across a work at home advertisement on a random website. To this day I don't remember what the site was or exactly what the ad was for, but what I do know is that it got me interested in the possibility of being my own boss. So I began researching it further. One thing led to another and within days I had started my own online home business.

I really struggled in my first six months, as most newbie's do, and ended up losing several thousand dollars. That was from buying or joining all sorts of different business opportunities, ebooks, training, courses, programs, traffic, and anything else that promised easy online riches. Of course, all I did was lose money on all of it without gaining anything in return. But I was determined to succeed so I kept on going. Finally, I found a great mentor that truly cared about helping me succeed. She had built a very close team and a private forum where everyone on her team could come to help each other out. She also created a very effective and easy to follow system for building a website and getting it ranked highly on search engines. I did exactly as she said and eventually got my site ranked highly for many competitive keywords such as home business, home based business, work at home jobs, make money from home, and numerous others. From that point on everything just kept getting better and I continued repeating the process with more sites.

Now, all these years later, I am still going strong with my internet marketing business and loving every minute of it! I'm also the #1 ranked internet marketing specialist in the world according to Google (at the time of writing this) and that is an achievement I am very proud of. I started searching for a work at home job as additional income from my brick and mortar job back in 1999. I was working full time as a floral designer. I enjoyed it, but I was hoping to supplement my income. Unfortunately, I had stumbled upon a couple of those ad typing schemes, and yes, fell for them...just like many others have done. I was totally unaware of the whole concept of it all. I did however, finally learn my lesson.

The sad part of it is...a lot of these scammers are still getting away with it! Many of them have been shut down by the FTC--Federal Trade Commision. But, new ones keep coming up everyday. What most people don't know...
