Work From Home Break For Product Completion

When you work at home, you usually have tasks to get done on a deadline or a specific time of your choosing. When you work for someone else, it’s usually a deadline you have to meet.

Say you’re a freelance writer for various clients; well of course, you are scheduled to meet deadlines. On the other hand, if you run websites and need to publish content day after day, week after week and month after month; you will most likely be too hard on yourself, beat yourself up and feel unprofessional for not staying on top of your game.

All too often, some home business owners do exactly that; especially if they hold themselves accountable by announcing to the social medias what their goals are and what they plan on doing (often for a certain date/time).

Is this you? Have you fallen short of getting your business affairs completed on time? Most of us have been there at one time or another…unfortunately. And you ALL KNOW I’ve been there recently a few years in a row. Lol…I’ve literally buried myself in too many work-life things and bit off way too much to chew. Cliche or not, it’s true!

Most of you know, there has been a certain eBook that’s been in progress for at least 3 years. It’s been in the thinking stage for even longer. The first part of that progress was filled with running (3) blogs and writing clients.

I’ve actually thought long and hard about hiring someone to do all the formatting, layout and cover design for me. In fact a couple days ago, I had made up my mind to do that, and then thought twice and chose not to. Those (2) decisions were calculated just about all in the same 24 hours.

Well for now, I’m without clients and am going to take quite a bit of time away from blog content and socializing/promoting on social media for my business. I’m going to take this time to dig into this (Kindle version eBook) and just keep at it and get it done. If I need assistance, I know where to find it.

Gee, I’ve procrastinated long enough already!

Sure, there are (other) valid reasons WHY I’ve done so, and for people that are interested enough to download the eBook, you will know why…(based on what it’s basically about). It’s focused on how I make my income online, including a bonus of how beginners can make honest money online rather quickly. It will be an open and personal look at the journey of my work from home life.

Recently, there have been (more people than usual) that’s asked for my advice on how to make money from home. Some have asked publicly, and others have asked privately.

So, now it’s just time to get this project in high gear and finished to completion!

However, having said that, first I’m going to be totally in vacation mode while staying with my sister and her (half sister whom she met after they both turned 60). Imagine that…finding you have other siblings out in this world that late in life! I’m very excited to meet her.

After next week, I’ll be doing nothing else but working on this project.. well except for laundry, cleaning, cooking, etc. LOL I figure vacation season is the perfect time to get it done. ***Feeling determined!

A lot of you know the kind of year I’ve had so far; it’s been one thing after another this year! That has been enough stress in itself…but, I’m actually very tired of stressing out about this book getting done, I mean really!!!

So, this was my big decision this past week…I’ve went through too many (not so private) written goals for a life time. I’ve had tons of thoughts, words, and ideas flowing through my brain long enough, (plus the pages and other bits and pieces typed out).

It’s time to complete and publish! I meant business when I said it would be done sometime this past December or January. Obviously, it didn’t happen, and for good reason.

I certainly think it’s time to stop the rambling, take a break from some stress in my life, and then get busy!

Writing is my passion, and personally; I think eBooks are even more of a (defined passion) for me. I’m certainly hoping this book will help out a lot of folks that are looking to work at home.

I’ll pop in on Facebook and Twitter every now and then, however, for the most part, you probably won’t be seeing me for a few weeks to maybe a couple of months. Not sure about the job lead posting, I may get them posted, and I may not.

Just know, you HAVE NOT seen the last of me! There will be plenty of job leads, blog posts, tips and more ahead in regards to working from home…so stay tuned.

This was a bit of a ramble, however, I think I succeeded in getting my point across.
